NPv.ProxySwitcher

Selective per-domain proxy routing for Chromium-based browsers.

How it works

  • Configure your own proxy profiles: HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 or SOCKS5.
  • Assign a domain to a profile. The rule includes that domain and its subdomains; more specific rules take priority.
  • While routing is enabled, unmatched domains connect directly (DIRECT). Disabling releases the extension’s proxy setting to the browser’s underlying configuration.

Your configuration, your servers

Proxy servers are not provided. You choose and configure them yourself; their operators may process traffic routed through them. Profiles, rules and preferences are stored locally in the browser. No analytics, telemetry or browsing history collection. Proxy configuration and routing rules are not sent to the developer.

The extension does not read or rewrite website content. An optional on-page indicator adds a small label showing the selected profile; it requires site access and does not verify connection health.

Author’s Note

NPv.ProxySwitcher began with a practical problem: I had trouble accessing topdeck.ru through my internet provider while other websites worked normally. A browser extension solved the access problem, but repeatedly switching it on and off for one website became inconvenient. I created NPv.ProxySwitcher to assign user-configured proxy servers only to selected websites, leaving unmatched domains connected directly while routing is enabled. The extension manages proxy routing; it does not provide proxy servers.
